Chipinque

We get to Chipinque by taking one of the roads uphill behind our condo past the local flora and fauna for about 3/4 of a mile. I haven't found a map of the hiking trails in Chipinque other than the one posted on a bulletin board up by the hotel. I photographed it with a digital camera, cleaned up the image and here it is: Chipinque Map
Of course, if you're slow like I am, some guy about 70 years old comes by and passes you. He must have been riding uphill for 3-4 miles but chugged right along.
Pretty soon you're at the gate to the park and you can hike the road or take off more directly up the mountainside on steps and trails. Whatever your choice, the hike is well worth it. Soon you're at the top with fabulous views like below. And the cold Mexican beer tastes even better when you're done.
