| Cascada Cola de
Caballo |
| "Horsetail Falls", a 25 meter
waterfall, is six km up a road leading west off the national highway at
the south end of El Cercado. |
| You can park at either the
hotel or continue up the rod a few meters to the main entrance to the
falls. After parking and paying admission, you can begin the scenic walk
(or ride a donkey cart) to the falls. |

Those dark areas you see in the falls are actually
vegetation growing in holes in the rocks. |
| |
| Around to the left of the souvenier stand is a trail
leading to the top of the falls. |
| Above the falls you get a
grand view of Presa Rodrigo Gomez, known as La Boca (or Boca Lake) and get
a chance to see streams with pools of water and the vegetation that
flourishes on the slopes of the Sierra Madre. |

But what could be better than arrachera tacos and
cold Indio beer....... |

restaurant in El Cercado with our friend Walter. |
