My wife, Ellen, and I had the very good fortune to be able to live in Monterrey, Mexico and work at our new International Truck and Engine Corporation Heavy and Medium Duty Truck Plant in Escobedo 1999-2000. Our condo in San Pedro de Garza Garcia, which I've circled in the image on the left, was on the six floor with a dynamite view of Monterrey. Garza Garcia is one of the most affluent suburbs in Mexico, with restaurants that rival those of the major American and European cities.

Through this page I have tried to capture some of the wonderful sights and introduce you to the many beautiful people there. There are many more than the few images I've captured. It's a slow process.

If you like to eat, from gourmet restaurants to open air taco stands with ice cold Mexican cerveza, this is the place to be.
