ANYWHERE. My name is Andy. I am looking to find a crew position aboard a vessel to pretty much anywhere. A bit about me, I am a 36 year old licensed USCG, OUPV Captain from Ft Lauderdale, Fl. I have worked in the watersports boating industry since I was a kid and more specifically have owned and operated several parasail operations since 1997. As far as my ocean going experience, I have logged 12,000nm under sail on an 42 Oday center cockpit, and on a 28 Oday Outlaw (mostly single handed through the Bahamas. I also crewed a 55 Sparksman Stephenson M'-V from Key West to Roatan Honduras where I am currently living. I am very mechanically apt, can pretty much fix anything and have extensive knowledge of Volvo Penta KAD series engines, as all my parasail boats had them. That's pretty much me. Currently I am in Roatan but due to financial reasons I'm probably going back to south Florida unless I can hitch a ride out of Rio Dulce or somewhere in the area. We currently own a 26 ft sailboat in Vancouver, BC and are looking to gain more experience before purchasing a larger boat. We are both professionals taking a mini retirement to follow this dream.
